Why bamboo instead of wood?
Bamboo flooring is not only ecologically sound, but remarkably beautiful and elegant.
Bamboo is also extremely durable. It is up to 34% harder than red oak and up to 15% harder than maple. Structurally it is 50% more stable than red oak.
Bamboo is naturally more impervious to moisture than wood. It does not shrink or swell as much as wood
Bamboo also takes stain as evenly as oak, which allows the staining of the unfinished bamboo to any desired color.
Bamboo is easy to install, you install it the same way as a wood floor, either directly glued or nailed down. Cleaning your bamboo floor is a breeze, just vacuum or dust with a damp mop.

1) I am interested in trying out your bamboo flooring, but I am new to the product. Do you have a warranty?
At Fortune Bamboo, we understand that you might not tried bamboo flooring before, or might have a previous bad experience with other low-quality bamboo flooring.
That is why we offer a life-time manufacturer's warranty! Now you can have the added peace of mind that Fortune Bamboo is definitely the right choice for you.
We also suggest that you request for our FREE sample pack, so that you can see for yourself the high quality of our products.
2) How can I get the free sample pack from you and what will be the cost?
We understand that some customers wish to view samples of our bamboo flooring before they purchase, Now you can request for a free sample pack. The sample is free, We only charge for for shipping and handling costs worldwide, Your choice of making the courier cost to be collected in your company is acceptable as well as long as you can provide us your account in TNT, DHL or Fedex etc. The cost will be ranges from USD30.0 to USD50.0 depends on different quantity of samples you required if it to be prepaid in China. Please contact your local courier for the cost if it to be collected in your country.
2) I am a customer, and am interested in buying your products. Where is your nearest dealer or distributor?
We currently do not have offices out of China. But distributors in more countries are in the pipeline, as we seek partnerships with companies around the world.
We sell direct to customers if the order is substantial, please contact us with details of your order. Alternatively, we can inform you if our products become available in your country.
3) I am a dealer/ distributor, and am interested in carrying your line of bamboo products. How do I proceed?

4) A re bamboo-flooring planks free from pest infestation?
Yes. The high heat treatment in the manufacturing process kills all pest larvate in the bamboo. This is followed by further treatment, which removes sugars from the bamboo, reducing the possibility of pest growth to practically zero.
5) Will bamboo-flooring planks split apart or warp?
No. The high heat and high-pressure treatment, incorporating our unique sticking agent, produces an extremely strong product. The density and strength makes our products highly resistant to splitting and warping.
6) How do I care for my Bamboo Flooring
Our Fortune Bamboo flooring is designed for ease of maintenance and high resistance to common problems of wooden flooring, such as pests, scratches, warping and cigarette burns (Read more about the 10 advantages of bamboo)
To ensure your beautiful Fortune Bamboo flooring give you a lifetime of pleasure, we recommend that you follow a few simple guidelines:
A. Maintain a cool and dry environment by keeping the room well-ventilated.
B. Avoid long-term direct exposure to direct sunlight and rain.
C. Refrain from dropping or dragging heavy objects on the bamboo floorings, as this will damage the bamboo surface.
D. Spills and dirt can be easily removed with a dust mop or a moist mop (In case where moist mop are used, ensure that the area
mopped is dried immediately).
E. If possible, wax the floor periodically. Use clear paint to repair in case of superficial scratches.
F. Like all hardwood floorings, bamboo flooring can be re-finished, with the help of professional floor sanding contractor.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PRE-INSPECTION:
Prior to installation the floor MUST be inspected for:
A.QUALITY - Check quality and verify the material is the right material which was requested.
B.QUANTITY - Verify that the quantity is correct prior to doing any installation.
C.COLOR - Verify that the material is the colour ordered.
D.MOISTURE - Check the moisture as per ordered.
DO NOT INSTALL ANY OF THE MATERIALIF THERE ARE ISSUES A -D. ALLFORTUNE BAMBOO FLOORING MUST BE
ALLOWED TO ACCLIMATE TO NORMAL LIVING CONDITIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLATIONS.
Allow the flooring material to reside at the place of installation fo 48 hours prior to installation
INSTALLATION:
All floors must be clean. free of oil. and any adhesive residue. all floors must be level 1/4 to 10'. Installers should be profes-
sional and qualified.
- Floating Method - can be laid over wood or concrete sub floor.
- Nail Down Method - can be laid over wood sub floor.
- Glue Down Method - can be laid over wood or concrete sub floor.
Installation of various materials needs to be installed in the proper method.Some methods will not apply to some materials
or conditions.
FLOATING INSTALLATION:
Material Needed: Non-absorbent 1/8"thick foam pad & Latex glue.
Apply underlaid foam pad over existing sub floor. Start planks square with the room and parallel to its longest dimension.but
leaving 1/2" expansion space from wall or base plate. Ensure planks are firmly in place by applying a thin glue line on tongue
and groove. Once the initial rows are secured. further courses shall be laid simply to glue each plank to the one next to it .At
this point.a 2" x 4" wood stub piece can be used by interlocking the tongue and groove. With the completion of these proce-
dures a beautiful floating floor is created.

NAIL DOWN INSTALLATION:
Material Needed: Cleats or Staples.
Start the planks parallel to the room's longest dimension. but leave1/2 to 3/4 "
expansion space from the base plate or wall. Make sure the initial rows are
firmly in place by wedging or face nailing. Further courses shall be nailed
above tongue at a 45-degree angle to the face. due to the fact that bamboo
flooring is harder than oak wood. if nailer is not used. to avoid damage to
the plank. drill small hole above tongue to accept the finish nails.
GLUE DOWN INSTALLATION:
Material Needed: High grade wood urethane adhesive.
When the site where moisture conditions are of no concern, spread wood
adhesive. Start planks square with the room and parallel to its longest
dimension, but leave 1/2" expansion space from the base plate or wall.
Make sure the initial rows are firmly in place. Apply wood adhesive to
the sub floors and place flooring onto wet adhesive immediately
MAINTENANCE

1.Before your furniture is placed onto 513 flooring, flooring protector pads should be installed on the bottom of all furniture legs. Also, rugs should be placed at all entrances to the area.
2. Please use a vacuum cleaner and a dry mop to clean the flooring daily. Flooring with especially heavy use should be swept up to three times a day.
3. please wipe up spills or any other moisture on the flooring at once.
4. please apply a flooring wax to the area where has been slightly scratched. And apply a light wax to the surface of flooring periodically.
5.please make sure the heating/ventilating/air conditioning system is working properly, with normal humidity levels. Indoor relative humidity should be between 35 and 50 percent year-round.
6. please inspect the flooring for abnormal tightening or shrinkage. In wet weather, carefully monitor doors and windows for water leakage.
7. heavy and sharp things are not allowed to directly touch lion-king flooring.
8.please do not use toxic and eroded cleaner products and sharp cleaner tools to clean your flooring,which can damage finish layer and decrease flooring life-span
